Dakota Alpha, a 20-bed skilled nursing facility located in Mandan that specializes and serves individuals with a traumatic brain injury, resulting in both physical and cognitive disabilities. Dakota Alpha is the only skilled nursing facility in North Dakota specializing in providing rehabilitation services for individuals with a brain injury.

Dakota Alpha is seeking a dependable, dedicated, passionate nurse to help our residents reach independence through providing dignity and respect.

CNA responsibilities:

Directly reports to the nurse on duty and is supervised by the DON. 
The CNA is responsible for ensuring quality resident care and for following each resident's care plan.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the tasks of dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, transferring and other tasks of daily living as needed by physically disabled or head injured residents. 
The CNA reports problems, concerns, and information regarding resident care to the nurse on duty, the Charge Nurse, or the DON in an appropriate and timely manner.
The CNA must be consistent in modeling appropriate independent living behavior. 
He/she must be able to assess each resident's capabilities and assist them to perform their program in the most independent manner. 
Consistent attendance is necessary as are honesty and integrity in caring for resident, their belongings and equipment of the facility. 

CNA requirements:

Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate
Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Desire to collaborate and work as an active and positive team member.

CNA Shifts Hours:
6am to 2:30pm, 2pm to 10:30pm and 10pm to 6:30am
PRN status
8-hour CNA shifts
Would require for CNA to pick up 1 shift per month.
