Dakota Alpha, a 20-bed skilled nursing facility located in Mandan that specializes and serves individuals with a traumatic brain injury, resulting in both physical and cognitive disabilities. Dakota Alpha is the only skilled nursing facility in North Dakota specializing in providing rehabilitation services for individuals with a brain injury.

Dakota Alpha is seeking a dependable, dedicated, passionate nurse to help our residents reach independence through providing dignity and respect.

CNA responsibilities:

Directly reports to the nurse on duty and is supervised by the DON.   

Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Administer medications using appropriate medication administration techniques in accordance with facility policy and procedures.

Maintain security of medications during medication administration pass.

The CMA is responsible for ensuring quality resident care and following each resident's care plan.

Duties may include assisting with resident direct care as needed.

The CMA reports problems, concerns, and information regarding resident care to the nurse on duty in an appropriate and timely manner.

The CMA must be consistent in modeling appropriate independent living behavior. 

Consistent attendance is necessary, as are honesty, and integrity in caring for resident, their belongings and equipment of the facility. 

CMA requirements:
CMA II or CMA III certification
CNA certification
Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Desire to collaborate and work as an active and positive team member.

CMA Shifts Hours:
7:00-3:30pm
Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
